Thanks danny, very helpful.

So up to now, there are 4 Mods all of them were known before by most of us.

Will be interested to see that list in one weeks time and I bet, that only that very same 4 are present with no further additions -;)
I'm sure they will but the first Mod will be asked why another disagreed and then the disputes kick off
Corby, disputes between whom?
Disputes between the author of the deleted post and unknown Mod B because Mod A said it could remain so why is there a lack of consistency, it's not fair and so on...
Corby//Disputes between the author of the deleted post and unknown Mod B//
As i posted, the EDs will have the final say.
I appreciate that but not sure how the proposed process is meant to be an improvement on what happens at present.
danny - // Corby//Disputes between the author of the deleted post and unknown Mod B//

There won't be any disputes between anyone, Mods or otherwise, because such posts are deleted as per policy.
They will be deleted, eventually but there will be posts still.

Can you see an advantage to the proposal?
If this is how the Ed and Spare Ed want it to run with the MODs then it is up to them - really the rest of us should just put up and shut up or move on!
Honestly, who cares.

If you write something edgy then dont be surprised when it goes. Move on life is too short.

13.10. AH what an appalling post about an AB member from a mod.
naomi - // Furthermore, I’ve never known the administrators to object to suggestions or to meet constructive criticism with abuse. //

I cannot speak for the administrators, but personally I think constructive criticism is a valuable concept.

You really should try it some time, it would make a nice change from your endless hints at sinister Machiavellian plots and power schemes which exist nowhere outside your fevered imagination.

//Your problem is clearly yours. //

I'm not the one who bangs on about how badly the site is run, I have no problem.
ladybirder - // 13.10. AH what an appalling post about an AB member from a mod. //

As I am sick of saying, my Moderator status does not influence or affect my ability and my right to post as any other AB'er does.

If you object to my post, feel free to report it.
Thanks LB.
I already did even though I knew I was wasting my time.
LB, I think you may find you were not the only one...
ladybirder - // I already did even though I knew I was wasting my time. //

In my (considerable) experience, the only people who think reporting is 'a waste of time', are those who don't get the result they they they should, because the Ed and Team do not share their view.

Rest assured that contrary to the opinion of a dogged few who prefer to believe their own nonsense, I, and all other Moderators, are subject to Site Rules in exactly the same way as everyone else.

I have had posts deleted, and no doubt will again.

It's not my decision, but I will abide by it without complaint.

I just wish others could learn to do the same.
Amen.
