This is one of the former residents of 47 Albert Square. The character has the same name as a newsreader.

I found it by putting 47 Albert Square into Google and then using the Wikipedia site (which I think is fantastic) to read about the characters who lived at that address.

No offence quizmonkey, but if you want to start the lessons, I'll gladly listen. I use google a lot and am far from mastering it, so any pearls of wisdom would be appreciated.

Not everyone is a whizz kid when it comes to the internet. I'm sure that many ABers are not as confident at using Google as you obviosly are yourself.

My mother, who is in her mid-seventies, a very keen general knowledge crossword puzzler and extremely bright, is very tentative about using the internet. I introduced her to this site and would hate to think that she would be put off using it just because she is not an expert "googler".

You never know,when you answer a question, the circumstances of the person who asked it. Perhaps you could be a bit more patient - just in case the person who asked the question is my mother or someone like her!
