Sky Q Subscription - Downgrade

I called the number linked to downgrading subscriptions and it was automated. I was asked what I wanted removed and I said Sky Sports and that was it. Will it be removed cease straight away or will it remain until the next bill?

I believe you have to give 30 days notice if you want to cease a particular service. I had a barney about this when I had SkyQ installed. My earlier package did not include "Sky Kids" (or whatever it's called) My new package did but I didn't want it. I was told I had to give 30 days notice to cease it, even though I'd never had it! We got there in the end.

Last bill was paid on 25th April so would it cease 24th May?

unlikely. You need to give 30 days notice usually (as NJ said) i am with virgin, but when i recently downgraded they needed a month's notice and my bill was adjusted from a month after i changed the package

Oh ok, so I'll be paying another month's worth?

I only added it for my ex so his mum could watch all the Spurs matches. Season ends on 22nd May according to him so contacted Sky today to cancel.
