Tiggs, with Russell T Davies returning to the show to replace Chris Chibnell as showrunner, I think a upturn in storylines will be on the way. As for Ncuti Gatwa, I've not seen his previous work before, but believe he is highly spoken of as an actor. I'll be interested to see how he does, and how much, if at all, his race will be a factor of those stories.

My apologies Ken I didn't see your post x I gave up watching Dr Who quite a while ago but though people might be interested. Each time a saw a trailer for the Jodi Whittaker version she appeared to have exactly the same expression on her face with wind blowing through her hair! Apparently the new guy is very popular and has 2.5 million followers on instagram

I tried watching the recent “Sea Devils” story and gave up.
Pretty sure IMO.
I didn’t realise John Bishop was in it.
It reminded me of when Alexei Sayle, great performer that he is, appeared to be brought in to kill off the program years ago, as if Sylvester McCoy wasn’t enough to do that
