please can somebody tell me how to get hair dye out of my wooden kitchen chairs and out of the bath, which is fairly new

What is your bath made of. It's enamel you'll have to be careful. Have you tried nail varnish remover or white spirit?

Failing that look on How clean is your house website. They must have something on there.
if it's gone on to wood you've had it. the dye will have penetrated the grain the only way to get it off is to sand it down.I know it happened to me on my bathroom cabinet.i sandede it down and re varnished it it looks ok !! Good Luck!
That's why I gave up dying my own hair and now go to the hairdressers, it doesn't cost me anymore really as I ruined towels, a dressing gown, had to repaint the radiator etc!!!!!

If your bath is plastic, try using some descaler (Viakal or something), it may be the dyed limescale that you can see.

And like previous reply, go to a hairdresser. I too got sick of colouring walls, floors etc, it's cheaper in the long run!
