Does Anyone Know The Answer To The 1% Question From 14Th May Programme

Does anyone know the answer to the 1% question from 14th May. I recorded the prog but it switched off just as he was about to reveal the answer. So annoying. The question was what comes next in this sequence 1.f 2.e 3.i 4.r 5.?

e = second letter of second
i = third letter of third
r = 4th letter of forth

...and you need a recording device that knows when a prog. is actually starting and finishing - not when it's scheduled to!

...and (mallyh), r isn't the 4th letter of "forth"!

gingejbee, althouth 40 is spelt 'forty', 4th is spelt 'fourth' so the r is the 4th letter of the word.
