not jealous at all, once i'd spent a couple of million the rest would gather dust in the bank . . .
Money in the bank doesn't gather dust - they give you less than 1% interest, but lend it out at 15-30%.
Jealous? I'm not really sure. This is a ridiculous amount for 1 win. I do know I wouldn't even tell most of my family never mind the whole world.
A bad move in my view. They've made themselves a target for all sorts of nasty people. What a dumb thing to do.
Once I'd kept a few million to myself and family I'd give some to charities, children, animals, homeless etc., and then help those around me in the current climate. It certainly wouldn't be gathering dust in the bank.
I think most of us would give most of it away but even if you kept 20 giving the other 164 million away would not be easy. It's far too much money.
true that, Prudie, I seem to recall a TV programme about lottery winners and one said she hadn't told her family as they'd just blow it all.
