A few days ago at work during lunch, I was talking to a lady of chinese origins, and since I never ever really had an involving discussion with anyone from that extraction before, like the curious eorge that I am, I was interested to know how her community adapted to British society, basically started talking about that until it lead to her shocking statement......That most oriental woman prefer caucasian men above anyone else, and even showed disgust and borderline racism towards her own own counterparts! So is this statement true?

Well I have seen that daft game show where all these Oriental blokes inflict pain on themselves and then cry, maybe she is a shrewd woman after all.

Not that this is in anyway scientific but from my observation of mixed race couples I hardly ever seen far eastern people with white partners where there are plenty of Black/White couples and more so these days Asian/White (in the British sense of the word).

There is an element of truth in want she says, in that SOME Asian women prefer Western men. Some Asian societies place more value in the male line, and as such males are treated better by their parents (better education, toys, holidays). This can lead them to believe they are better, and therefore treat women with less compassion than they might otherwise do. This sort of behavior can be emotional, financial and sexual. There are bars in Asia where Asian women go to meet Western men to develop long or (very) short term relationships.

In major cities around Asia it is very common to see Western men with Asian women. The eye catching ones are old, usually fat, men with young ladies interested in money. However, there are far more relationships (but less noticeable) between people of similar age and standing.
