Don’t you think?
We here have had a month of cloud, that’s what we get for living so close to the North Sea I guess, lifting the mood on the politics of the day
What’s your weather doing?

The wind and rain has destroyed my peonies which were beautiful. It has now turned its attention to my "Jubilee Garden", which I planted instead of putting up bunting. It was meant to be a cascade of red, white and blue. It will be a soggy, windswept mess - although so will everything else.

Ah that’s a shame BM, hopefully the sturdy flowers will come out again, a r.w.&b garden sounds lovely btw
Apart from last Saturday, when a storm whipped through parts of Ontario, May has been dry with temperatures in the high teens to mid-twenties.

Barmaid I too planted a lot of plants and they have taken a battering. They're looking rather bedraggled!!!
No Bobbs don't hold your breath. It seems our summer comes in sporadic days.
My brother's last email said that it was 81 by him 30 miles outside NYC on Sunday...meanwhile it was 20 degrees cooler here in the SW. We've had some sun but there's always a chilly breeze. It's been a cold spring.
Question Author
Phew! 81 in NYC,that’s hot hot hot
Glorious blue skies and sunshine, Bobbi....followed quickly by rain, strong winds, blue skies, more heavy rain...snow wouldn't surprise me.

You’ll get it straight at you from the Atlantic Gness? Or would it be the Celtic Sea?
Atlantic where we are, Bobbi.
My brother is loving it...wish he'd send some this way!
The weather down inthe SE can't make make up it's mind weather it's wants to be cloudy, rainy or sunny. It was quite chilly last night and yesterday we had a short but heavy hailstone storm.
