does anyone mind their name being shortened

for example some people on her call me fluff or fluffy
Dot.hawkes = dotty
pinkfizz =pink
chinadoll = china
etc etc you get my drift, in my real life (yes i have one) my name is often shortened to kirst instead of kirsty which i don't mind unless i don't know them then it hacks me off

redbel calls me "ste", but i think thats just because she's scouse and has stolen the other couple of letters.

and kecks has been known to call me "ohmygodthestudliestmanonabgiveittomenow"

Always called Geoff instead of Geoffrey, when i was a kid, if my called Geoffrey, i knew i was in trouble .

I was always del, delly, addy, dee but now i've got a it's back to proper job i'm back to Adele, can't really introduce myself to clients (oi, no that kinda job!) as del. Familiy and friends stil use it though, only get Adele if i'm being told off!
