How can autism be cured and what is its cause? What does it mean to be “on the autism spectrum”? By definition, aren’t we all on the spectrum?

Autism has probably around for many years and not as a result of the measles vaccine as some anti vaxers purport. Medical advances probably led to a greater understanding of some "poor parenting and badly behaved children" as having autism. At present treatment is adjusted to the specific needs and behaviours of each individual
Many are high functioning in specific areas, music, art,
architecture etc. some are verbal, some non verbal. Every one diagnosed should be treated as an individual for their own specific
needs. Can it be cured like an ulcer or infection probably not but it can be modified by understanding and addressing each person as an individual

There are those of us with high-functioning autism who most definitely would never want to see our type of autism 'cured'.
Indeed, I believe that we should be using eugenics to ensure that everyone is born with it. It provides a clarity of vision, unclouded by emotions, which is so sadly missing in most people.
