I tried to teach my last two moggies (Frankie (my profile picture) and Princess Merlin) to sit and stay. It seemed like a good idea, cats are (allegedly) just as trainable as dogs.

It didn't work.

I've heard they starve the cats to make them do tricks. That was from someone who worked in the circus.

That is jaw dropping. Having had cats all my life I can't even begin to think how they made them do that.

They train domestic cats the same as they train big cats, through cruelty and deprivation.

I'd prefer to keep things as they've always been, where cats train humans to do their bidding. My lot are experts in the field ;-)
