Mary Poppins.

Always loved Mary Poppins as a child. Still do..
Staying with my daughter in Hertfordshire at the moment and she took us to see the show at theatre in Leicester Square yesterday. It was quite good not as good as I thought it would be but still enjoyed it along with songs, as did my 7 hearing Grandaughter. Anyone seen it?

I saw half of the old film (dick van dyke/julie andrews)
I got scared and cried so much ma had to take me home.

Patsy - I have been to a few musicals and Mary Poppins (London) was my very favourite - wish it would come to Northern Ireland. Loved it.

Worse musical was Mama Mia - I wanted to cut my wrists - horrendous musical. Do you think I went to see Mama Mia again - nah - deffo would have no wrists LOL

Hi Mallyh, She lives in Barnet. We caught tube/ trains to central London. Absolutely jam packed with people, only to be expected. :-)

I have to agree with you on Mama Mia., although I didn't watch it a show, I watched film. Can't understand why people get so excited/obsessed over it.

I’ve seen it on stage and I thought it was Practically Perfect, in every way! I loved how they did the various magic tricks and the performers were all really talented. Great voices and wonderful costumes. One of my friends is in the ensemble in the London production at the moment but I won’t get to see it again.

Glad you enjoyed it Maydup. They were a talented bunch. Mary Poppins flew above us! My Granddaughter thought it wonderful.
I think I expected them to fit everything in from the film! Glad I went.
