Historical classic music tranferring to CD's?

We're transferring a collection of Vinyl classical record to CD. Some of the records might have historical value, i.e. Imogen Holst conducting her father's works, and Albert Schweizer playing Bach's works on the organ. Are these records likely to become collectors pieces in the future? It's not possible to transfer the record sleeve notes onto any card inserted into a CD jewel case so record sleeves would provide the only authenticity provenance..
