Can anybody tell me if there is a Computer disc or Computer programme That can actally remove stuff from your hard disc, I have seen things advertised but I am very sceptical, All answers and help will be very much appreciated. Thank You. Alligator

Well that depends what you want removed, can you not just uninstall, delete? what are trying to remove?

Try a program called Sure Delete. Just do a Google search for it. It doesnt just delete your files, it writes zeros over it to make it unrecoverable.

Thank You for your Replies, A Hard disc was sent to a friend and there is quite a lot of old Medical jargon on it and we wondered if it could be removed. Thanks once again.

It takes quite a lot of doing - you have to overwrite it numerous times to make it unrecoverable for someone determined enough and with the right equipment. You can never actually remove it - just cover it up with something else.
