...you could console yourself by thanking your lucky stars you're not in the popular holiday village of Benahavis near Malaga in Spain. A massive forest fire means everybody there has had to be evacuated to safety.

I have a friend with a holiday home in the south of France, which he's had to leave twice in recent years because of forest fires. Fortunately it was missed both times.

It happens. Far too often the problem is the Green lobby stopping management to prevent fires.

Personally I'd prefer the warmth.
