Long Lost Family - Swapped At Birth

Did anyone watch this, this week?

It was quite sad for two women knowing that the people they grew up with weren't their real family. And in order for one of them to seek and find her real family it would result in the other woman's life being turned upside down. I can't imagine having to go through that but it could've happened to anyone at any time. I'm sure it must still happen now.

Yes I did. It would be very strange to know they were not your real parents. Also very sad for the parents to have found out. Am sure it has happened and went unknown.

I don’t think it would happen now. Mothers and babies wear bands on their ankles and/or wrists.

There was an episode of Call The Midwife, where the plot screamed out Babies Will Be Swapped in an Emergency Evacuation. And of course they were.

I can’t imagine how it must feel to be in your 70s and found that happened to you.

I think in a way you would be better not knowing and just carrying on with your life.

Yes, i felt so sorry for the other lady who had no idea so had her life turned upside down because the first lady persued it. She would have been better off not knowing.

I must admit I have given up on the Long Lost Families. Davina is just too annoying. She can't seem to ever answer a question without a dramatic pause before she speaks.

I met a girl at youth club who was born on the same day as me, and then we discovered we were born in the same hospital! Could easily have happened to us, but think my family likeness puts paid to that idea.

I could laugh at my family - one brother said I was adopted cos I didn't look like them (I'm image of my dad), said I was deaf, that's true LOL, had a speech impediment (true) and couldn't sing like them (that's true). All 7 of family could sing (Von JennyJoan family) For a while I was only 10 I did believe him - siblings can be cruel.
