And can't seem to find them deep enough. I had to send a pair back today because they were just bloody dessert spoons.
From looking at the sites you can't work the size. Round and very deep for all those that browse through the night and when you are at it - don't forget the thin white handtowels - just kidding about that.
Have loads of cutlery sets - they have all the spoons but no soup spoons. Thanks all for looking.
Try a dessert spoon, place it on the floor so that the rounded bowl is uppermost. Very carefully stand on the bowl and apply sufficient weight so the bowl flattens to the desired shape. Sorted ;)
I would have given yous all best answer as it was nice of you to find the links for me - I have gone for DannyK - on reading a review - somebody was complaining too shallow - that's me - so that's them for me. Thanks everybody.
Mind you if I am not happy with them they will go back. Bye for now
i thought shallow and deep was one and the same - anyway they're ordered now and I got free postage on Amazon as I can pick them up in my local mall about 6 houses away.
Shallow and deep have opposite meanings. The first review says, "These are of a reasonable quality for the money, but they're only 5 or 6 mm deep, which is too shallow for a proper soup spoon in my book."
