She Told Me She Is Breaking Up With Her Boyfriend?

She called me up after a few months of no contact. Said she was sad to stop speaking to me and that she is on anti depressants. Said she felt like she couldn't be herself around the guy she is with and when she hangs up the phone to me, she'll break up with him. I feel quite bad in what she is going through. Seems very up and down. I said i'll check up on her later in the week. She was also insistent that she needs someone patient and understanding (how she always describes me). Where to go from here and how to approach this situation? Feels a bit awkward checking in not knowing if she actually went through with it or not.

dont know what age you are but I've been around the block a bit - and all that you have written about - I've helped and more - just leave well alone - she'll rally round herself - they always do - with or without your help
