The DLR should be running normally but will be extremely busy. Where are you travelling to/from?

Thanks NJ - London city airport to tower bridge
That's probably about the only viable option then, Helen (to Tower Gateway). The DLR trains at London City only come from Woolwich, two stops away so may not be too packed. If they are, you could consider travelling in the wrong direction to Woolwich and staying on the train to return to Tower. You will probably have to change (Limehouse may be best) because, IIRC, Woolwich trains usually go to Bank.

If the Lizzie Line is running you could travel on that to Liverpool Street and walk from there. Bit of a hoof but not too bad if you've the time.

Thanks - don't fancy the walk with a case and suit carrier and hat box lol - will stick with the DLR

Thanks for your help
It might be easier to get a taxi from the airport. It's only about 5 or 6 miles - although it won't be cheap.

The roads will be chaos
The roads in London are always busy, but Tower Bridge is on the edge of the City so you won't have to travel 'through' or 'across'. If time isn't really an issue, I'd rather that than hump luggage. It would be my choice - but just a suggestion for you.
