Boy #1 is taking part in the largest accident simulation ever held by a university today and I’ve already seen a photo of him on Twitter. Just ironed girl’s school uniform for the last time (final GCSE tomorrow) and I’ve just bought myself a car (online - never seen it) and it’s getting delivered next week :)

I just can't understand buying a car online without seeing it. If it's brand new then it's a bit more understandable, but 2nd hand.....no way.
Sher, it doesn’t seem that long since your brood were small children at primary school.
Now is the time for you to treat yourself. Happy driving .
I agree Zacs, but it's not such a no no if it's one of those firms that will take it back (as they claim) for a full refund no questions asked.

I wouldn’t know what I’m looking for so wouldn’t make any difference going to see it - it’s from a garage and has a 2 year warranty and the only things it’s failed any mot’s on is needing new tyres and headlights not working.
OK. Good luck.

Anne, the eldest is 22 next month and is just about to complete his paramedic sciences degree and the things are 14 now.

I haven’t got a car to go and look at other cars and I don’t have much time, I’ve got a lot going on right now. It’ll be fine, I refuse to have my good mood bubble burst (even if I have got an 8 hour shift starting at 2pm).
I bought a car from Cinch
Disadvantage: you can't haggle or test drive tho of course you have a cooling off period.
Advantage: no irritating sales talk.

Overall, I'd probably do it again

congratulations on being a new car mummy
congrats to the girl on her last gcse and congrats to Boy1 on nearly becoming a paramedic xx
Enjoy the car, Sherr.....your children are doing so well...but they are making me feel old! I still imagine them as littlies....x
Well done your brood Sherr, my grandson he gone from wanting to be a paramedic to being a quantity surveyor, big change, he’s doing a weeks works experience at the company his Dad works for this week
