Logan Mwangi - 3 Life Sentences For His Murderers
https:/ /www.bb c.co.uk /news/u k-wales -619524 30
Who would be a juror on this trial? One of the jurors has spoken bout her trauma and she is a psychologist. Her words alone are enough to make the blood run cold.

So incredibly sad.

Now we’re out of the EU I wonder if there’s a chance of re- introducing the death penalty? Millions cut in real terms in health and social services, we could save a fortune despatching vile scum like this instead of paying for board and lodgings for the rest of their lives.

// Fatticus, my prerogative, BA.//
I’m obliged, sadly not the sort of story where one would revel in the kudos.
I’m a fairly mild-mannered guy however past experiences mean that I’m emotionally involved.
Takes a lot to push my buttons but domestic violence and/or child abuse rather boils my pi$$.
Before the hand wringers ask, yes, I could carry out the sentences I’d prescribe and not bat an eyelid.
I see myself as a Wendell White from LA Confidential sort of character. That’s not bravado, it’s just that I can identify with him, massively.
C’est la vie.

It was hard to watch that programme last night, particularly at the beginning when his s called mother was screaming about finding her son and saving her son - my God what an evil lying witch. I wish their sentences had been 10 years longer. What a great pity little Logan didn't see more of his Dad, he may have been saved. Kudos to the police, they did a great job.
It was hard to watch naomi, especially when they showed videos of the beautiful little boy when he was happy, but I wanted to see their cruel, evil faces when they realised the game was up and there was nothing but long jail time for them. I also applaud how the police work on such cases, they just keep on until they get justice. One policeman at the end said the case had damaged his soul forever.

And risk getting sacked?
Like it or lump it, prison officers have a duty to protect even the lowest of the low. These 3 monsters will most likely be put in with others of their ilk, segregated from the main prison population.
Perhaps someone serving a full life tariff with nothing to lose may do the business and rid us of their presence?

@THECORBYLOON... The judge ought to lift the protective ring of steel around social services. They are largely culpable too for negligence. Nothing sticks in my craw more, when they trot out the old adage 'Lessons can be learnt'. Someone/s in SS should now be standing in the dock in a Crown Court. Period!
Fatticus, I am sorry to read that.
2 things from the programme that I cannot forget:
I wonder what the family court judge who let the youth move into Logan's home had to say and
Had medical help been called after those dreadful injuries were inflicted upon Logan "in a timely fashion" he would have a great chance of survival.

The programme was indeed harrowing, and for me one of the hardest parts was the fact he stayed alive for several hours after the beatings, and could have been saved. Hearing of some of other punishments was also horrendous. Both males trained in martial arts means Logan stood absolutely no chance. A pity Social Services took him off the at risk register.
