Nose Tingling And Nostril Scabbing

My nostrils started feeling slightly tender to touch in March, then tingling and scabbing. I read to use Vaseline on cotton bud which helped but didn't cure it. I had a face to face appointment with doctor 2 weeks ago, especially as I had Basal Cell Carcinoma removed 8 years ago on side of nose. I was prescribed Naseptin nasal cream, I used it 4 times a day for 10 days as prescribed but now I have finished the course the nostrils are just the same, no improvement. I will get in touch with doctor again but wondered if anyone else had similar?

I would suggest you drop into the chemist and buy Chloromycetin cream 1gm tube and apply thress times daily as it appears that you have nasal vestibulitis, an infection.

if it hasn't cleared after a week, then your presumed assumption may well be very relevant.
