Listing Mp3's
16 Answers
I want to list all the MP3's on my laptop.
I know they won't cut and paste, can someone explain how I can get them onto a Word Doc or an Excel spreadsheet please? Thanks!

It's actually very easy:

There are various programs you can use to do the same job too. This one's been around since Fred Fintstone was using a pedal-powered PC but it still works with Windows 10:

Due to my browser throwing a wobbly (meaning that I got locked out of posting for a while), TC's post wasn't there when I started typing.
I'm happy to agree that Directory Lister should do the job as well as the software I've suggested. (The only reason I didn't mention it myself was that I wasn't sure whether it still works under Windows 10 but, since it's there on Microsoft's own website, I must assume that it does).
I'm not worried about anyone here have an 'obsession' with me. It's those guys squatting outside my house and chanting all night long that really worry me ;-)

Thanks for your answer.
I have downloaded the software, and it has accepted my list - but I'm unsure where I go from there - I want to put it into an Excel sheet - can anyone explain how I do that please?

Copying and pasting straight from the above link:
"You can save listing in CSV format, Excel file "
"Another set of columns you can print is for Microsoft Office files (DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX) so "
So:
1) Select the folder(s) and file type(s) you want.
2) Save the data in Excel format.
3) Open in Excel.
