Try a fly spray for the hangers on, and get all foodstuffs in sealed jars/tubs where they can't settle again (especially fruit!!!)

thanx morbidstorm - I actually had been tryinf fly spray after moving all fruited things and breads away - cause apparently they like bread too. I had bought a brand new loaf from Baker's dept in Morrison's and the little bighrters got themelves through the plastic bag - must have been tiny hles in it.
I had bleached and cleaned all areas but there was so many f them that the fly spray wasn't getting rid of all if them.
I read on another site that you can make homemade traps using fruit in a jar to attract them. I put honey into a few jars and it said to put plastic wrap on top and pierce holes so they fly in but can't get out but theior still alive - they don't all drown in the honey - so it also said if you add washing-up liquid - it will kill them - so I think I have finally got the rest and any loose ones havee got sprayed with fly spray.
