my daughter is 8 I wrote on here before about her massive windypops lol she has chronic wind problems it doesnt make any difference what foods she eats or what time of day she eats it. It isnt a problem at home (just entertaining) lol but she holds it in at school as she is embarrassed and is getting tummy ache is there anything she can take to relieve this?

I can remember holding it in for fear of embaressment at school, work etc. the tummy ache is horrendous. maybe some kind of peppermint homeopathic remedy might help. i have now overcome this problem by becoming self employed as a gardener and it doesn't trouble anyone. lol! i did work in a hospital and we used to blame it on the patients, oh how awful! lol at least when your daughter is at home she can get rid of it without fear of teasing. another thing make sure she chews her food properly without gulping too much air down with it. good luck and trump on!!! x
thank you for answering and as amusing as the problem is for us i will give the peppermint remedy a try as my other half her dad thinks it outrageous that she out trumps him!! she is quite a slow eater any way so air getting in is not really the case. I will try that and if not i will have to drag her to the docs im sure she will be impressed by that!! lol
i would suggest that she is allergic to something - maybe if you start with the obvious ones like gluten (in bread and wheat products) and milk - giving it a week or two without comsumming any to see if there is any improvement... if it isn't one of those then continue with other foods like e numbers, refined sugar, msg etc
