Very Big Trampoline
9 Answers
Our neighbor's have a child-minding business. They have a very large trampoline which they have put close to the adjoining garden fence. it must be about 9 foot tall.
The result is that we have lost any privacy in our front garden when the primary school closes till around 6pm.
The kids play football in the garden which results at times coming into our. The guy seems to think he has a right to coming into the garden for the footballs.
I am growing sunflowers so not happy with his attitude.
. Do you think there is anything in planning regs to stop the trampoline being put so close to our property?

Across the road from me, a neighbour has exactly the same problem. Trampoline and football goal net at the fence in the front garden, and barbecue and hot tub gazebo at the fence in back garden.
Complaints to council about constant footballs, noise, smells and children bouncing up and staring in her attic bedroom windows have brought no result.
Council suggested they could provide mediation between the two neighbours, so this might be a way forward, but unless your neighbour would be willing to compromise, it might not bring much result.
