I know Beth Rigby doesn’t like Johnson, is she shifting her dislike into Sunak?!
She has a very valid point with her very first question.

Viewers of Sky News who might also want answers to very pertinent questions? He never answered the Johnson question, nor the green card/non-dom enquiry that as she rightly pointed out the opposition will make a meal of.
You do understand that, don’t you?
Good questions.
Two good replies.
He did answer her specifically. He said they had been out in the open for some time, and that he had referred himself to the standards watchdog, who had cleared him saying he had been meticulous in his declarations.

I don’t like Sunak, but he is the one Labour doesn’t want to face.
I'm interested to follow the voting in this contest, but most of the nonsense around the campaign is best avoided I suspect.

Electoral promises are worth little at the best of times: in leadership contests, Tory, Labour or whatever, they mean even less

I can just see Sunak's first PMQ's, Starmer skewering him with a series of decisive, well-aimed questions. Or maybe not.

One barely adequate, I guess the Johnson remarks were a view as opposed to a question so fair enough.
He certainly didn’t address her appraisal.

I reckon the public will remember those(especially former cabinet ministers) who don’t vilify Johnson for his behaviour and the opposition will remind them of that at the GE.

Will we ever get to hear his personal statement/resignation speech/assessment of the leader and government he resigned from?
Well done Beth Rigby .
"They don't like it up em" These Tories.

Very good of Mad Nad to wash the parties dirty laundry in public so soon!

Starmer and Davey don’t need to do anything really!
Nadine is something of an authority on skiving off work.
"Ready for Rishi"

Yuk :-)
Like I said before, I'm sure he'd be a competent PM, but I really don't like all this stuff ... (!)

I saw a meme/tweet recently that had a pic of Dorries with the caption:
Nadine Dorries has submitted a letter of no intelligence. PMSL
seen on Facebook earlier -

all of those that get the required 20 pledges of support are put on a plane to Rwanda.

each one given a budget and personal responsibility.

every time they reach a border, they have to prove they are a highly skilled worker.

first one back to no10 wins.
Patel and Shapps have pulled out of the race
Patel strictly speaking was never in it.
Showing unexpected awareness of her lack of suitability perhaps

My bet is it’ll be Mordaunt, Tugendhat or Truss - with Sunak a possibility if he stops irritating people :-)
