No need to worry about spoilers around Tiger. He’s playing because he can and wants to play St Andrews one more time but he is no longer a contender for the Claret Jug. It was sad to watch him this week but then the camera won’t leave him alone unlike the other has beens who are allowed to hack round away from the limelight.

Haven't watched any of today's golf but there were one or two glimpses of the old Tiger yesterday. Sadly, that's the last St Andrews will see of him as they are not due to hold the event again until 2030.

He was obviously emotional at the end and genuinely so.
Maybe deep down he knows it’s the end of an era, of rather his era?
