My postman does his round in a van so only carries a light weight sack, mostly. I have seen him struggle with some parcels though.

No post today, not surprisingly its been far too hot for door to door deliveries today.

I agree, Maydup. Couldn't believe that the roofers were working on my neighbour's south facing roof today, I wouldn't have let them work on mine.

The post down my street has been haphazard to say the least since the pandemic !! It's never fully recovered and we can go days and days without seeing a postie. I've given up now and just accept this as the 'norm'.

I took a parcel in from the postman this morning for my neighbour who is on holiday. That's the 4th one. I shall be asking him why he orders all this stuff when he's going away.

I had two letters delivered. Unusually neither were bills and both were of financial benefit to me.
