Yes please Jura!
BARRY, White Chocolate definitely exists and "white chocolate" is a "reserved description", meaning it must meet a specific minimum standard to be described as such.

The legislation decribes it as,
"The product obtained from cocoa butter, milk or milk products and sugars which contains not less than 20 per cent cocoa butter and not less than 14 per cent dry milk solids obtained by partly or wholly dehydrating whole milk, semi-skimmed or skimmed milk, cream, or from partly or wholly dehydrated cream, butter or milk fat, of which not less than 3.5 per cent is milk fat."
When you put it like that TCL, who could resist? :)) Used to like it but it's cloying
"Hmmm, partly or wholly dehydrated cream, butter or milk fat..."
It isn't chocolate folks. It's a milk confection. Chocolate contains cocoa butter. Have a look at the wrapper to see what the cocoa butter content is.
Its legally reserved description is, "white chocolate" which is different from the legally reserved descriptions, "milk chocolate" or "chocolate".
Chocolatears on here.
