morning, Monday and the start of the working week for some of you. I hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have any plans for today?

my fridge is mostly full, as is the freezer, must be time to defrost it, an onerous task.

Morning guys. Waiting in for boiler guys to turn up - we’ve had no hot water for 5 days. They turned up Friday to fix it and ended up making it worse, the boiler wouldn’t fire up at all after they’d fitted their bit!!! So then they rang their boss, who turned up, and said it’s now a manufacturers fault, as it’s only two weeks old! And the manufacturers will need to turn up - Worcester! So they then rang and said they are turning up today between 7.30am - 9.30am. I can just see what’s going to happen - they’ll turn up and says “we can’t see what the issue is as it’s not on!”

Boiler guys txt saying they were turning up today between 7.30-9.30am was followed by a 2nd txt saying they were now turning up between 9 - 12 noon, followed by a 3rd txt an hour ago saying they were now turning up between 12 - 3pm !!!…….. waiting for 4th txt!

It must be difficult to predict an exact time Smow when they don't know what they might find when they do their rounds. Bosch has an excellent reputation. I had a new one fitted a couple of years ago and it has been excellent, so quiet I hardly know it's on.

I know, just wanted a fairly stress free day and I’m just hanging about waiting for them to turn up…….. oh well.

I'm waiting for carpet fitters to turn up Smow. Just praying they come before the dog gets back from his morning walk or he'll want to "help" them!! Not a good idea.
