Virgin and BA are selling london-dubai for the same price of approx 240 pounds return. My question is, which is best? They both seem equally good companies to me!

when coming home on leave, most ex-pats would say put me on any airline except BA, none of us wanted to "fly the flag" thank you very much.
At that time Emirates were the best, but Virgin didnt go there then and I have never had a bad Virgin flight to anywhere.

I worked in Dubai for 14 years and we got a ticket home each year and no ex pat wanted the BA flights where unless you were in business class you truly got treated like cattle and totally ignored for hours on end, if you wanted something you had to go and search for an attendant and then they were blatantly rude.
Singapore Airlines and Emirates were great on that route, the only ones who were worse were China Airlines. At that time Virgin did not fly there but I have been on many Virgin flights to US & India and their staff are attentive & courteous even to the economy passengers where my pal once had her dinner served by Richard Branson in person.
If I ever win the lottery then my press statement will say thank God I will never have to fly BA again.
