For Buenchico Or Anyone Else Out There!

On my laptop the bar across the bottom with the bit where you click to open a browser and with the weather and time etc on used to be about half an inch tall but somehow it is now about and inch and a half or more - I've obviously clicked on something and can't get it to go back to the correct size - any ideas? Its taking up almost a quarter of the screen.

Try restarting your laptop if you can't drag the bar down

Just get it to 'double arrow' on the top of the task bar and then drag it down.

I'm not here. I'm just a fig leaf of your imagination ;-)

Place your mouse cursor over the top of the taskbar until you see a double-headed arrow. Then hold the left mouse button down while dragging it back into the right place.

Then, to prevent it happening again, right-click on a blank space in the taskbar and select 'Lock the taskbar'.

Note, ensure the task bar is not locked (Right click on the taskbar to see it)

Try the control and minus button , thats the key with the + and - on it , together

Control and minus makes the whole page smaller, not the task bar

Many thanks although the taskbar wasn't locked before I noticed it, I managed to lock it when trying to sort it out so have now unlocked it and found the double arrow - but as with all these things I have to ask how are you supposed to know?
