Barclays Unincorporated Association Mandate

As a committee member I need to be added as a signatory to our club bank account. I already am for another club, so Barclays have got my verification details. I have been sent a form to give my personal details but it is asking for my 'ID Verification Reference Number' but I have no idea what this is or where to find it. The helpline only gives recorded messages then cuts off. How do I speak to someone to find out how to find my ID Verification Reference Number?

Call in at your local branch and ask one of their advisors (who nowadays seem to know nothing about what you want to discuss !).

Is it the reference number on whatever you used to confirm your ID such as a passport or driving licence for example?

After two hours going round in circles I finally got to speak to a very pleasant young lady who was unable to help me - and we agreed perhaps I should go into a branch (sadly none where I live now) and take in some identification and see if they give me an ID reference.
