Morning all - now that was quite a show that the Red Arrows put on last night - we left my sister's about 4.30 and it took 30 minutes down to Gyllingvase Bay, just off the south side of Falmouth and once anchored, out came the champagne and then wine and nibbles. By 6, the place was crawling with an enormous armada of boats of every shape and size - quite a few smaller ones and RIBs, the latter I called 'immigrant boats' came up to have a look at this beast we were on. Afterwards, from Gullingvase, it was over to st. Mawes and supper onboard about a mile up from the town in a lovely, calm area - and then back for just gone 9pm, the moon coming up and looking terrific. A great afternoon...a friend of mine coming along and we were 16 onboard.
