it used to be something left on ur computer that told the software not to allow install...one was date on computer as well as registry something...anyway lots of software is freeware now and u can make a donation if u like it ....which is really fab!!!!
Cheers BD the software I want to trial again isn't freeware though :( I wanted to see if there was anything I could remove that would allow me to install it again so I can have another go lol
If you have XP or ME, you can do a system restore to before you installed the software. That will remove the entries it made. Provided you haven't installed other things you want to keep in the same period. Failing that look for a crack - I didn't say that.
It could be anything. Registry entries are the favorite but they don't give the entries usefull names so its a little difficult to find out. Having said that if you want to continue using it after the trial period it has obviously been of some use to you, therefore would you not consider buying it. I'm not getting funny or anything but thats the way buisness works, if you use it you should pay for it.
Oh it's just that I was ill through most of the trial period so only got a couple of days to try it out in the end, you're right though, it did what I wanted it to so i think I might splash out ;)
