Just got my electricity back, my garden is flooded and we'vce had thunder and lightning all night and still have it, we're in an orange weather alert until 4pm today while the warning has been removed from other counties in RoI

When my sister came to live with me she brought a little chihuahua. When the time came she needed to use a walking frame I'd have the wee dog's lead. In the evening we'd sometimes meet a couple who were walking their three Huskies. Our wee dog would bark at them.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.

When we met each other they'd cross to the other side of the street. We'd nod to each other but our wee dog would be barking and busting for a fight. Fortunately, the Huskies didn't take up the challenge.

I'm built for high temperatures, but the garden is not. I bought 25 litres of topsoil and have emptied the lot into the enormous cracks that have opened up across the lawn. I've sprinkled some grass seed near the top and am hoping some rain will encourage regrowth.
