As for hair - it is safer if the hair can't be grabbed by a bad guy and should be pinned up. I am not sure if hairnets are needed.
Body armour is seemingly difficult to wear and more uncomfortable for anyone with boobs/moobs. I wonder if they will sort out this problem and many others before they make the officers look neat and tidy.
Some forces have body armour for their K9 officers and others don't. Surely that should be something that is supplied. A stab vest of some sort maybe. These K9s are valuable members of any police force.
