I've had a lovely day, thanks. It's our village show, so this morning we were busy burnishing carrots and spuds and raiding my few surviving flowers in the garden before taking them to the community centre. Then I drove to near York for lunch with my daughters and 2 of my grandchildren.
On return, it was time to collect the exhibits and lo! and behold! I won first prize for rhubarb!! (2nd for rudbeckia and 3rd for vase of perennials) so a happy result. OH got a first for his tomatoes - but it;s not his birthday. :)
