My decorator is getting on well and the painting is half finished, so looks likely he will be finished in three days.

Morning all, a grey one here - don't think it is raining but it looks as if it is not far off though it's supposed to be a reasonable day - will take the bet and run the w-machine. Please to hear that your Michaelangelo is progressing, emmie, and that the colour is what you expected it to be - guess he is putting down two coats?

Chores today - will probably do the Falmouth run on Thursday as I have a hair-chop that morning....

In the states, we used to nickname our decorator Michelangelo and I think he believed it himself though his painting standard was quite remarkable - with my nieces' bedrooms, he painted incredibly realistic clouds on a pale blue ceiling just as if it was a summer's day...

thanks dtc, dulux turned out to be too expensive, but he got some decent stuff anyway, and hopefully the colour will look fine.
