Boris has got his balls out(no, not those ones, nor the tennis ones for the wealthy Russians), chosen the crystal one and says it’s all gonna be ok, we’ll never have it so good.

I guess he is already getting ready to return to his journalistic roots?
He got fired from that for making stuff up that was fantasy too though.
I like how he says ‘your bills are going up’, no use of the word ‘ours’ because the reality and harshness of the population’s situation will not even register with him.

I can't see where he said 'we’ll never have it so good' so I guess you made that up - and you the doyen of honesty too - but what Boris has said seems about right. I've no doubt Putin is delighting in the problems he's causing for Europe and I've no doubt we will come through it - but that aside since, as always, you're making something out of nothing I can only conclude that Boris breathed the wrong way for you again.

I am longing for the moment when one of Putain's generalissimos plugs le bashtard in the Kremlin, this being, I think, the expedient way to end the contretemps with the Ukraine. Can you imagine what rubbish various ABers will dribble on about once the main thorn to our inflation and energy crisis has been extracted?? And when I say 'our', I also mean the EU at large....
Well no one knoewws that the future holds, but that is precisely why Johnson was so popular.
No one likes to be told that there is endless doom ahead.
I actually think that, taking the "golden" stuff with a pinch of salt, that he is absolutely correct.
Russia has or is about to switch off the gas again for three days, and some say it won't come back on again.
Short term russia benefits from these switch-offs as it spikes the gas price. However that won't be much use to them longer term if they don't have their customers any more.
