Have old Apple ipad.
Not used for long time.
Will not let me "in".
Can't remember Apple activation code.
Do not have any other Apple products to help me.
Android phone.
Any help greatly appreciated. Plain language please as I am "no expert"

Is it the 4 or 6 number code to unlock you need? If so try some numbers you might have used date of birth maybe? Year of birth ?

You presumably have access to your email account though. Try looking through it to find any emails from Apple which (as shown in my link) might well include your Apple ID.

I’m sure there’s steps to take to reset your tablet if you can’t remember your log in details. All content will be deleted/lost
I’ve done it on my grandsons Samsung smart phone. So you might be able to do it on Apple product.

Your AppleID is an email address and then a password that you chose.
If you go to settings, at the top should be your name. Click on that and the email part will be displayed there. Hopefully, you used a password you have used before.

Or is the the the 4 digit device lock that you have forgotten?

Can you do an online chat with Apple. I have found them very helpful and they can "mirror" your device to talk you through their suggestions

Use the support link at the bottom of Buenchicos link. You can do it on your phone if you don't access to a pc. Doesn't have to be an iPhone.
