I enjoyed this. The clues were set at just the right difficulty for me; difficult enough to be a challenge and want to keep on but not absurdly difficult.
It is a pity that there is more than one way in which the final part of the puzzle can be displayed. However, I suspect anything sensible will be acceptable.
Great puzzle, Crash. Thank you.

I made a right pig's ear of it the last time we had this theme, so I'm sending this in with no little fear that I've missed something obvious. Your "more than one way..." comment has compounded my angst, Emcee.
A fine puzzle, I agree. Despite the setter's restrictions, it was chock full of devious clues, and it was a clever use of reversals. Many thanks, Crash!

Harder than it seemed at first - I went steaming in with some easy clue solves in the SE corner and then hit a wall for a while.
All came together very tidily though and the endgame was definitive - although I agree that the depiction could be done in more than one way.
All in all a very good puzzle - thanks Crash.
