Want replacement internal wooden doors. Excluding the additional cost, would solid wood fully finished doors be best, bearing in mind the following requirements? Have a dog that might scratch door occasionally, so surface sanding might be required. Also, when carpet fitters come and shave under the door to enable it to close better, would solid doors splinter as much?
Has anyone had a door fitted recently and can advise roughly how much it cost them for labour, please? I will be wanting a pair of handles put on each door too. Not sure how long each door would take to fit, either, if there are no complications. Lots of questions here- sorry

Could cost quite a bit depending on the number of doors / quality of doors & fittings. Get some estimates.
if it's a period property reclaimed doors might be an option?
