Email On Samsung Phone

Hi, I am trying to set up (reset up actually) my email through the email app on my samsung S8. i have put the details in correctly but i keep getting a message saying ' Couldn't verify account you need to generate an app password, You can generate a password in the email account on the web' can anyone help please? i am unsure how to generate this password, never had to do this before. it is a sky email address which is run by Yahoo. thanks for any help

I can't get to the relevant link myself, as one needs to be signed into a Sky account to do so. However this would seem to help:

Under 'Mobile or tablet', click 'Android'.
Under 'Still can’t access your emails?', click 'Generate an app password'.

[NB: It might be best to sign into your Sky account BEFORE doing the above, so that the 'Generate an app password' link doesn't just lead you to a sign-in page, as it does for me].
