There’s even lots of clips of Dorries being interviewed(well, swooning over him) to the point where I think even she believes she was the one most concerned for his welfare, not his wife.

Truss would no doubt have made promises to garner the support she needed to 'win the race' to No 10. The cabinet appointments are a result of those promises, imho.

As I’ve said previously to you and others with that mindset:
Please don’t ever be involved in any decisions that involve childcare or vulnerable adults.
Endorsing him endorses his behaviour i.e. lying and covering up for predatory sexual behaviour are inexcusable, that’s why his party got rid of him.
The new PM has already been asked to tackle such behaviour.
