From looking around in town this morning, the answer is no.

I turned up at work this morning dressed in black and was promptly turned around and told to go and get my hi-viz jacket and safety boots with the reflective inserts.

Management are so heartless.

I’ve been out and about in town today and no-one was looking sombre. I was quite surprised to be honest especially some of the older generation who I expected to wear darker clothes today but no, still in their pastels as usual! Mind you we are a holiday town and they won’t have packed their mourning suits if they had them!

t wear black apart from a funeral, and certainly not to mourn someone I did not know.
