Baby seats

My daughter is holidaying in the Canaries shortly with her 2 year old child the question is. Is it compulsory for taxis there to conform to UK law to supply baby seats ? Thanks in advance

seems to indicate that they are not always fitted and that they may be an extra charge for their use if they are.

Being pedantic again, it's not even law in the UK for taxis to conform to the new regulations. They fall into one of the many loopholes regarding exemption, except when any adult passenger travelling with a child provides the baby seat.
