Paint 'em?

Can't for life of me think of the specific brand name- is it Amorite or something? They do some lovely colours.
Thinking of Hammerite? It's a tough enamel paint.
Thats the one thanks Catso! Lol @ Amorite, doh @ me!

I was thinking of that stuff because the cabinet is metal? Or am I talking rollocks again???

thanks - do i have to do any prep before I use that paint? the woman in the shop said they were difficult things to paint because you had to file the bumps off (or make them smooth or something).
very much appreciated.
you could always buy a spray can of paint used for cars in Halfords or such like and spray it, you could also use stencils.
The advantage of Hammerite is that it doesn't really need any preparation. Just wire brush any rust off. And it's a very tough paint.
We had a couple of horrible dark wooden two-drawer filing cabinets. My husband covered them with white fablon and they now look imminently respectable and double up as bedside tables. Our local B & Q has a huge range of Fablon material, from wood grain immitations, to marble immitation, to plain colours.
